Stop Killer Drones!

Please join us on the second Saturday of each month from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. in front of the White House on Pennsylvania Avenue, to witness against drone killing.

Unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) flown by the U.S. Military and Central Intelligence Agency have killed and maimed thousands of people—including many innocent men, women, and children—in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, and Libya, as documented by The Bureau of Investigative Journalism and others. Most of these countries are far from any battlefield where U.S. troops are engaged. Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have issued reports questioning the legality of the US drone program and demanding transparency stating, “Secrecy surrounding the drones program gives the US administration a license to kill beyond the reach of the courts or basic standards of international law. . . . What hope for redress can there be for victims of the drone attacks and their families when the USA won’t even acknowledge its responsibility for particular strikes?” Stand with us opposing U.S. Military and CIA drones used in extra-judicial killings. U.S. killer drone strikes are not only illegal and immoral, but they are counterproductive and must stop now!
