Project Francis: Spread the Pope's Message

We're once again running a full-page ad in the National Catholic Reporter, and we'd love for you to sign on! 

On one critical issue after another--ending war and the arms trade, abolishing nuclear weapons, addressing the climate crisis, eliminating the death penalty, and welcoming immigrants/rejecting racism and exclusion--Pope Francis has significantly advanced Catholic Social Teaching. But when is the last time you heard a sermon or read a bulletin article devoted to these topics?

Our ad calls on our bishops and priests to amplify the Pope's prophetic messages, so the faithful hear them loud and clear.

The text of the ad appears below. Will you please sign on to show your support and make a donation to help us cover the publication cost?

We're requesting $25 for each individual signature and $50 for each organization, but any amount is gratefully accepted. And if you can add a little extra, we’ll meet our costs that much sooner. We're aiming for the September 13, 2024, print edition and will need about four weeks of lead time, so please act now by signing on, making a donation, and spreading the word through your own networks.

To sign on, contribute online by August 9 or by mail by August 2. Here’s how:

To sign on with a donation, click the Donate button below and fill in the requested information, including how you want your (or your organization’s) name to appear in the ad. Then click “Donate Now” at the bottom of the screen.

To pay by check, make it payable to Pax Christi Metro DC, with “NCR ad” in the memo line. Send it to PCMDCB, c/o Kurt Hansen, 6621 Struttmann Lane,  Rockville, MD 20852, and again let us know how you want your name(s) to appear in the ad.
